I really enjoy painting fruit and fresh strawberries are always a lovely healthy treat. Fruits that grow wild in all their glory still impress me to look at. I used to pick berries near the Eric Morecambe birdwatching hides near Morecambe.  These are lovely bird watching locations built in honour of dad’s achievements and recognise the enthusiasm he had for birds and wild life. It perhaps helped to spawn the joke… “Do you like wild life Eric?” … “When I can get it Ernie!”.
